What it does

Reality HDV lets you describe HDV shoots live, in real time, storing content in native HDV format. You can then search, play, pre-edit and email links to stories, all from a Web browser. The resulting EDL refers to the original HDV format and can therefore be imported directly into an NLE without an additional ingest.

HDV real-time indexing. Save time by indexing HDV shoots in real time, while the camera is rolling. Mark segments of interest and enter full text descriptions, creating an index including streamable video, thumbnail images, time codes and descriptions.

Pre-edit with latest material shot. Search, play, pre-edit, and generate an EDL with up-to-date material, as it is shot. Share and exchange stories through your intranet or via the Internet.

Import HDV straight to editing. Automatically generate EDLs that can be imported directly into a non-linear editing system. Use Reality's native HDV storage to start editing right away, eliminating video capture time.
